Bio
Having enjoyed racing for the fun of flying alongside other pilots, Rousseau gained experience and realised he had a talent for the sport which motivated him to train harder. He participated in his first competition in September 2017 and since then has travelled around the world and gained a lot of podium places in international competitions, after joining the XBlades team in July 2019.
French champion for the 5th time, and Canadian champion for the first time, he has won the FAI Drone Racing World Cup in 2018 and 2023. He ranked 3rd at the 2019 World Championship and in 2022 he competed at The World Games, the first time drone racing featured on the programme, and took the title. The same year he joined the Drone Racing League. Last year, in 2024, he won the multiGP International Open, the biggest event in the world with 400 pilots.
Meticulous about his equipment, he says, "What i really enjoy is to prepare my drone for the best performance, to be the lightest and most powerful possible, to race and beat the other fastest pilots. Going that fast on a track and trying to make perfect lines is really satisfying and exciting feeling."
Other activities
Fully dedicated to drone racing competition since 2024, Rousseau's current focus is purely on his sport. His goal after his competition career is to continue to work in the drone world.
Aside from drone racing, Rousseau rides dirtbike as a second activity and one day hopes to compete in this sport too.
