Bio
Kwan began FPV Drone Racing aged 10, and alongside persistent practice, he has dedicated himself to analysing, researching and engaging with FPV communities to address challenges.
Fortunate enough to have access to a field, he has the space to train and maintain his equipment. The financial support of his parents has been integral, and over the last seven years he has competed internationally, with notable achievements (aside from national champion in China), a third place at the 2024 WDC, and 4th place at Games of the Future.
Kwan found competing at an international level "both thrilling and rewarding" and is proud of the results he achieved, as well as recognising the other skills he acquired whilst travelling, saying "The experience broadened my horizons, enhanced my technical skills, and allowed me to connect with talented individuals from different backgrounds."
Looking forward to The World Games, he is grateful for the support of his team, saying, "Thank you so much Team HongKong for this opportunity, and I am looking forward to racing with lots of talented pilots at TWG2025, sharing experiences, and learning from you guys!"
Other activities
A high school student at Minxin HongKong School (Guangzhou Nansha), Kwan is set to graduate in 2027 and is dreaming of a place at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. Fully focused on his studies after an intense period of travelling and competing internationally, he has reconnected with classmates in and out of school, saying, "The support and friendships I have built make me feel happy and comfortable, reinforcing my belief that balancing passion and academics is key to a fulfilling and successful future."
