It is with deep regret that the FAI announces the passing of Dr Richard Garrison, the President of the FAI Medico-Physiological Commission (CIMP), due to a severe illness.

Elected CIMP President in 2016, Dr Garrison had been active in the commission for many years as an Alternate Delegate, Voting Representative and Secretary where his knowledge was highly regarded, especially in matters of antidoping. At the time of his death he was the CIMP Alternate Delegate for the National Aeronautic Association of the USA.

The FAI would like to offer its most sincere condolences to the family of Dr Garrison and to all his friends within the medical aviation community.
