The FAI International Drones Conference and Expo has started in Lausanne, Switzerland
Lausanne’s most interesting events of the year has started: the FAI International Drones Conference and Expo.
Leading entrepreneurs, aviators, designers, telecommunications experts, lecturers, pilots and engineers who contribute to the global drone ecosystem have gathered together at this unique meeting of minds to share their specialist knowledge, collaborate and inspire other drone enthusiasts.
The two-day conference covers all three hot topics in the ever-expanding world of drones: Sports, Safety and Innovation.
Presentations from these global experts will address subjects such as airspace regulation, the future of public transport, humanitarian aid and eco-friendly aviation.
The FAI International Drones Conference and Expo is part of the EPFL Drone Days is an event hosted by the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne, a renowned engineering college, research institute and centre for excellence in robotics research. It comprises a cutting-edge drone Robotics Showcase and demonstrations as well as the thrilling 2018 EPFL Drone Racing Cup.
